Vivian O.
Vivian’s journey into leadership has been shaped by experience and community.
Growing up with immigrant parents who worked tirelessly to support their family, she often lacked guidance, but joining the Boys & Girls Club, especially the Keystone leadership group, gave her direction, support, and a safe space to discover her potential.
MEET THE FINALISTS
Dulce M.
Dulce has been a member of the Boys & Girls Club for over 11 years, where she found a second home and the guidance, support, and opportunities that shaped her growth.
From building lasting friendships to discovering her passion for helping children through Career Launch and her leadership in Keystone, Dulce has developed strong communication, leadership, and service skills. She has empowered others, created inclusive programs, and advocated for youth both in her Club and beyond.
Tyler A.
Tyler is a dedicated youth leader and mentor, applying for National Youth of the Year to represent and inspire his peers.
Through programs like the Youth Advocacy Program, Student Coaching, and the College and Career Internship, Tyler has developed strong communication, leadership, and listening skills, while mentoring younger youth and fostering meaningful connections. His experiences have taught him the power of collaboration, open dialogue, and leading by example.
Abram M.
Abram is a passionate advocate for youth leadership and community service, applying for National Youth of the Year to represent and amplify the voices of young people.
Through his involvement in the Youth of the Year program, a film program, and a student internship, Abram has developed strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, while learning the importance of serving and inspiring his community. He actively promotes a clean environment by picking up litter on campus and encouraging peers to take responsibility for their surroundings.
